Isabel joined the Halihan Family Dentistry staff in December of 2023. She has previously worked front desk in different office settings and really enjoys receptionist work. When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her partner and their dog Champion. She loves baking, cooking and reading.

Carina Vega, Registered Dental Hygienist

Carina Vega is a dedicated and compassionate dental hygienist who graduated from the College of Lake County in 2020. With a strong foundation in patient care and a genuine passion for oral health, Carina brings both skill and heart to every appointment.

Before beginning her dental career, Carina proudly served in the U.S. Navy for five years, where she developed her commitment to service, discipline, and teamwork. Today, she channels that same dedication into creating positive, comfortable experiences for her patients.

Carina’s favorite part of being a hygienist is building lasting connections with her patients. She loves making people feel at ease in the dental chair and finds it incredibly rewarding to help them achieve healthier, more confident smiles.

Carina is happily married to her husband, Chris, and is the proud mother of three children she absolutely adores—Marie, Eric, and Alex. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, and has a deep love for live music. Summer is her favorite season, when she takes every opportunity to attend music festivals and soak in the energy of the crowd
